Privacy policy
What we keep about you, why, and what you can do about it.
Who processes your data
Blogoogst, based in Nijmegen, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 92206735. Questions about your data? Email info@blogoogst.com or call +31 6 13 13 70 44.
What data we collect
If you request a demo, get in touch or order a plan: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your company name and your website, plus whatever you write or tell us.
If you take out a plan: on top of that your VAT number, your billing address and your bank details for the direct debit, and whatever you put in the notes field.
As a customer: the access you give us to your website and your measurement data, and what comes out of it: keywords, rankings, impressions and clicks.
We do not collect special categories of personal data and we do not buy data from third parties.
Why we use it
To answer your question and schedule a demo, to run the plan, to invoice and collect payment, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. The legal basis is the performance of the agreement, our legitimate interest in replying to your question, or a legal obligation.
We do not use your data to profile you and we do not make decisions about you based on automated processing alone.
How long we keep it
Data from an enquiry that does not lead to a customer is kept for a year at most. Customer data is kept for as long as the plan runs and for seven years after that, because the Dutch tax authority requires it for our records.
Who we share it with
Only with parties we need in order to deliver. We have a data processing agreement with them, or their own data protection terms apply. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Calendly, when you book a meeting through the "Book a demo" button. You then enter your name and email address on the Calendly site, not with us. Calendly is based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. How Calendly handles it is set out in their own privacy policy.
Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ireland), for payment and the direct debit. You enter your bank details with Stripe, not with us. We see the status of your payments.
Our email and hosting providers and our bookkeeping, to email with you, run the website and keep our accounts.
The website runs on Hostinger. To be filled in once the suppliers are final: which email and bookkeeping providers we use, and whether any data ends up outside the European Economic Area through our suppliers.
Cookies and measurement
This website sets no cookies and does not track your visit. There is no analytics script on the site. If we start doing that later, we will ask your permission first and update this policy.
The fonts are also served from our own server. Visiting the site therefore sends no data to Google or other parties. If you click a link to Instagram, Trustpilot or Calendly, you land on their site and their privacy policy applies.
When you order, the website emails your order to us. The website itself does not keep it. What you fill in is also kept briefly in your own browser, so the thank-you page can show your order. That disappears as soon as you close the tab.
We also keep your quiz answers in your own browser this way, so you can carry on where you left off. If you book a demo after the quiz, we pass your answers on to Calendly so we can prepare the call.
What you can ask for
You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, have the processing restricted, object to it, and receive your data in a usable file. Send us an email and you will hear from us within a month. If you disagree with how we handle it, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security
We limit access to your data to the people who need to work with it, use encrypted connections and never ask for passwords by email. The access you give us to your website can be withdrawn by you at any time.
